With gratitude and humility, I am honored to be part of the journey of the Nihal Veliyil Foundation and Spectrum Hearts, a mission that is very close to my heart.
As a mother, my understanding of autism did not begin through books or professional discussions. It began through life itself. Being blessed with my son Nihal, I have experienced the joys, challenges, hopes, and emotions that countless parents of special children experience every day.
Through this journey, I have learned that children with autism do not need sympathy; they need understanding. They do not seek pity; they seek acceptance, love, and opportunities to express their unique abilities.
Every special child teaches us valuable lessons about patience, unconditional love, resilience, and faith. They help us see the world through a different lens and remind us that every individual has a unique purpose in life.
The vision behind Spectrum Hearts was born from a simple belief — that no child should be denied the support they deserve because of financial limitations, and no parent should feel alone in their journey.
Today, when I see children walking into Spectrum Hearts with smiles, when I witness their progress, and when I see hope returning to the hearts of parents, I feel deeply grateful to God for allowing us to be a small part of their journey.
I am especially proud of the dedicated team of therapists and professionals who serve these children with compassion, patience, and commitment. Their work goes far beyond therapy; they touch lives, build confidence, and inspire hope.
As a mother of an autistic son, I understand the silent prayers of parents, the worries they carry, and the dreams they hold for their children. I want every parent to know that they are not alone. Together, we can create an environment where our children are loved, respected, understood, and empowered.
I firmly believe that every child is a precious gift from God. Their value is not measured by how they communicate, learn, or behave, but by the love they bring into our lives and the lessons they teach us every day.
May Spectrum Hearts continue to be a place of hope, healing, inclusion, and happiness for countless children and families.
With prayers, love, and best wishes,
