The Nihal Veliyil Foundation was established with a vision to create a more compassionate and inclusive society where every individual, regardless of their abilities or circumstances, is treated with dignity, respect, and equal opportunity.

Why the Foundation was Established

The inspiration behind the Nihal Veliyil Foundation comes from a deeply personal experience.

As the father of Nihal, a young adult on the autism spectrum, Nazeer Veliyil understands the emotional, financial, and practical challenges that many families encounter while seeking appropriate care, therapy, and acceptance for their children.

This journey transformed his perspective and strengthened his determination to ensure that other families receive the support, dignity, and opportunities they deserve, regardless of their financial circumstances.

From this vision, the Nihal Veliyil Foundation was established to provide hope, inclusion, and practical support for children with autism and other developmental needs.

Families interested in Spectrum Hearts can begin by contacting us through the Contact section or emailing veliyilnihalfoundation@gmail.com. Our team will guide you through intake and next steps for your child.

Yes. Spectrum Hearts provides completely free multidisciplinary therapy through a non-payment voucher model, so families are not charged for sessions.

Spectrum Hearts supports children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental challenges. Eligibility is confirmed during intake based on each child’s needs.

Due to growing demand, some families may be placed on a waiting list. We prioritise fairly and keep families informed of availability — please contact us for current status.

An initial developmental assessment helps our multidisciplinary team understand your child’s strengths and needs and plan appropriate therapy. Specific requirements are shared during registration.

Session frequency is individualised by our therapists based on each child’s assessment and therapy plan — speech, occupational, behaviour, ABA, physiotherapy, special education, and parent counselling as needed.
